64 bit DC

With windows 64 getting released soon will there be 64 bit crunching programs coming out to take advantage of a lot of the A64's people are using?

The A64 runs a 32 bit client as good as or better than a 32 bit CPU.

Some projects may not see a boost on 64 bit CPU and OS.

At F@H they recompiled the client/core and saw a VERY small increase. Something to do with floating point ops and SSE 😕 Looks like they don't have to go 64 until a WU needs the extra memory space that 64 provides.

Imagine downloading a WU that uncompresses to over 4 gigabytes? 😕 LOL, not on my dialup!

I'll take that! it'd take like a week and a half to finish it but it'd be like a 1800pt WU...right?

I would think even if it doesn't benefit from the increased dynamic range it would benefit from twice as many GPR's available.
