Hello,
I have a spare MSI 865PE Neo2-FIS2R motherboard. It has a Intel Springdale
865PE Chipset. The specs are -
. Supports Socket 478 for Intel® Pentium 4 (Northwood/Prescott) processor
. Supports up 3.2 GHz/FSB 800
. Supports FSB 400/533/800 MHz
I'd love to build a system out of spare parts for testing XP64 and Vista 64.
I don't know what chips were the first Intel made to support 64 bit
processing. Are there any that I can use with this motherboard that will
support a 64 bit OS?
Thanks.
