[rabid maniac obsessed with SM3]OMG OMG OMG.
But whatever, get the 6200 becoz it has teh 1337 SM3 support and the 5700 is crap cos it has liek only 2.0 and won't be gud with new gamez in liek 2006.[/RM]

Anyways:
It seems like the 6200 is faster, but I haven't seen any comparisons of the 6200 and 5700. (Although I only briefly looked at the results, and the test systems were probably different).
Here is a comparison of 27 graphics cards (including the 6600 and 5700 and lots of others), but no 6200 unfortunately.
Here are some 6200 numbers to compare with.

The 6200, as it does SM3.0, and can usually be unlocked and overclocked to near-6600GT levels. There is NO 5700U on earth that can compete with that. I know, I've had a 5700U, and compared to my 6800GT, it seems like an old Rendition Verite V1000 card [remembers good ol' VQuake]. Whats more, the 6200 doesn't have the problems with DX9 games like the 5700U (all of the FX series had problems to some extent with DX9, some moreso than others). The 6200 will also produce better shader quality than the 5700, as, I said, the 6200 doesn't have the DX9 problems that the 5700 has.

Hope this helps :)

the 5700u was garbage, trust me I owned one, it was absolutely terrible in newer games. The 6200 would beat it even without a soft-mod most likely.

As always, anytime a thread about the plain 6200 or 6600 comes up, someone should provide a warning that people should be very, very careful to make sure the card they are ordering is a bona fide 128 bit card because the card companies seem to enjoy having fun with consumers by releasing neutered, slower 64 bit cards under the same card names.

GeForce 6600 beats out the PCX5750 in most cases. The GeForce 6200 only has a slight edge over it though.

Cards tested:

Card Chip Memory DX Generation Chipclock Memoryclock Buswidth P-Pipes
GeForce 6200 NV43 128MB DX 9.0c 300 550 128-bit 4
GeForce 6600 NV43 128MB DX 9.0c 300 550 128-bit 8
GeForce PCX 5750 NV36 128MB DX 9 425 550 128-bit 4
GeForce PCX 5900 NV35 128MB DX 9 375 700 256-bit 8

In HL2 though, the PCX5750 is actually beating the 6200 in most cases. I know you weren't talking about the 6600 but consider the following links:

pcie 6600: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-122-202&depa=0
agp 6600: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-145-112&depa=0

The pcie card is really a bargain for what you get versus the 6200. And the PCIe version of 6200 is completely neutered with TurboCache (yuck  )

the pcx 5750 probably beats 6200 in HL2 because the 5750 runs Directx8.1
while the 6200 runs 9.0C which is harder

the 5750 runs dx9 though right?

also keep in mind the 6600 crushes the 5750 in 3dmark05, which means it'll definitely run new games better.

because the 5750 has some crappy directx9 support the creators made the game so all 5xxx cards only run in directx8.1 if you compare diffrent sceenshots of HL2 in directx8/9
mode directx8 loads a lot quicker

Thats why they call the 5xxx series the cards to be forgotten
