It says "with various dents and dings. There is no damage that will affect the performance of the heatsink. They are all in working condition." What does that mean? Are these ones that the shipping department dropped or something? A friend of mine just ordered one so I'll let you know what it looks like when it gets to him. Could be quite a bargain.

Do NOT link to that site here again please

the overclockerz store is generally frowned upon around here; too many people ripped off when doing business with their various store fronts... just a warning (www.resellerratings.com has personal experiences)

that said, as long as the fins on the heatsink are not bent, so as to impede airflow, then dents, scratches or dings shouldn't matter as to the heat conduction of the HS... some people whack off parts of their HSF's to make em fit their mobo's... not generally a problem.

Post any questions over in the CPU/Processors & Overclocking forum and you'll get a number of expert opinions. Nice post (tho the OCZ store connection might get it locked -- and rightfully so.)

Add on the free thermal paste (3grams) and the free copper spacer they have listed under cooling products and you have a really good deal
Now this says it is a "bare" HS but is pictured with a fan... I wonder what the odds of it coming with the fan are (nil I would presume)

I was going to try one, but $8 for shipping? How freakin' heavy is that thing? I've purchased cases that shipped for less. No thanks OCZ.
