I don't like to deal w/ MIR, so here is something you might like at CompUSA Starting March 3. 2002

CompUSA box (Maxtor) 7200rpm 60 GB HD for $99.99
SKU: 290252

Yes.

Before some of you ask me where I get the "info".

Washington Post deliver their "Sunday coupon" bag on "SATURDAY".
You can ask me any question or any sale about either OD, STAPLE, CompUSA, BB, CC.
(or even varified any sale, such RADEON 8500 is indeed on sale for $149.99 but after $50 mail-in rebate) 😉
RADEON 8500 at BB is $139.99 after $50 Mail-in Rebate.

Any good deals at Best Buy?

Looking for:
Speakers, pc speakers, hard drive, pc games, big screen tv.
Thanks

BendValve;

Generally, home electronic will still be there (since those are big ticket items)
As for tech item...

For BESTBUY:

***** Free 50-pak CDR media after 2 rebate!!! (manufacture and bestbuy)
*****FREE IBM NetCAMERA after 2 rebate

Rest of them all require rebate or 2 , and NOT even free. (I wouldn't want to bother w/ those)

I just got back from Crap USA (Columbus OH, Sawmill Rd. store) and wanted to confirm that they have a Western Digital rebate for $30 on an 80 gig 5400 drive. My guess is that they will run an instant rebate for $20, the -$30 MIR (Store rebate not WD).

$149.99-$30.00-$20 = $99.00 + tx.

Not bad if you are just looking for mass storage for movies or MP3s.

They also had a ton of the 60 gig Comp USA (Maxtors) on hand for tomorrow... FYI

SInce you offered, 🙂 is there anything close to a good deal in Staples ads?

How would this Maxtor/CompUSA drive compare to a 60gig IBM 60GXP drive? If it's not on par with the IBM, I'd just spend the extra 30 bucks for the IBM at fry's. I'm so pissed I missed the one-day sale last week when it was 99. What can I say, I'm a speed freak. Next upgrade will have to be scsi.

hmm, just about bought the 60 gigger when I took a look at newegg's prices, they have the same drive (maxtor's) for $99 plus $7 shipping. I'd rather go newegg.com, but prices will just keep falling and don't need it yet so I'll wait this one off.

Why do people post deals like.................................................................................this. 😕
