RaiseUp they really couldn't but they said they would help me if I need it a little for the loan monthly payments. There $100 something now a month. Pretty expersive yes. Though I pay them back.

Should I instead pay it all off by using half of the 6k and then work to pay off the rest then go back to a different school?

Don't have a car so thinking about getting a car as well but first would need to go to drivers ed.

What is the interest rate on your loans. If it is real low you are better off Buying a CD then giving the money to the bank early.

My first loan I think 12.0% but the second one is 3.37%

Pay down the loan at 12.0%. You not going to find any investment that will come out better then that. You might want to save some of the cash for a rainy day fund. I wouldn't be to concered about the 3.37% loan because that is a realitily good rate.

Ok that loan is around $5000 and then I wouldn't beable to get a car sense I don't have one but that would be ok. I mean its not like a car is as important as a loan.

I do have another 12% interest rate loan I believe soon as well. Not sure. Confused by all of this. Not sure when I will have to start paying that off. Loans confuse me way to much. I like just paying everything cash but you really can't do that with student loans inless you started saving money when you were first born.

I have $6,000.00 and much more. It's invested. If I had 6k that I just wanted to blow, I wouldn't, unless it was to travel somewhere.

WTF? A glitch in the matrix. This is what my next check will be for after a bonus this week 🙂

6k is nothing.

Why do so many ppl have student loans? Why didn't your parents help you?

They were lazy. I went to CC for one year, didn't work for a lot of the time (couldn't find work for a lot of it, plus took 7 classes/semester) and built up some debt, moved away with lots of debt, built up a little bit more before getting a job that I worked at full time and then some to pay away my debts. I also saved up and not only bought, but decked out a car, and eventually bought a brand new house, all while supporting my girlfriend (she did give me the loan for my car and helped with down payment on house though, but that's it, no work).

Yep, L A Z Y.

12% seems really high for a student loan. If the loans are intreste free until you graduate then wait to pay it off.

put $3000 into my ira, $1000 into my mutual fund and use $2000 for a new computer + some camera gear....that is if we're talking about $6000 extra that I got for free.....tax free.

Yes it does seem high for a student loan. I left that school because it wasn't for me and going to another school soon. Thats why I have a monthly fee for my current loan right now.

I may beable to stop it though if I go back to a different school and pay it off after I finish school but not sure if that is how it would work.

I dunno, I still owe about 7K on my car, it will be paid off in under 2 years. I'd probably buy 3K more worth of stock and pay off 3K of my car.

$6000...Hmm, I'd roll it up, stick it up my ass, and see if I could get through airport secuity without any problems

No wait, that was last week

I guess I'd buy a truckload of fake pussy's

I would buy a couple of computer things like RAM that I need, but not much.

I would extend my porch a little, and then screen it in and buy some patio furniture.

Actually first I'd buy a nice frame etc for my bed and maybe some bedroom furniture, its still kinda plain in there. And I'd also get a nicer kitchen table.

I'd paint my walls etc and maybe buy some other decorations or furniture.

I'd buy myself a new set of Falken Azenis to Auto-X on, and probably a camber kit, then re-lower the Integra. I'd also sell and swap my high rate springs for something just a little lower.

I'd consider swapping a b16 into my girlfriend's crx for her, and fixing her brakes so they don't shake. I'd also buy her a set of fat fives (integra gsr rims she wants).

I'd buy the cheat (my cat) something nice to play with, maybe get another kitten. Maybe get hairless so my girlfriend would let me keep it.

I'd buy a HDTV, probably around 48-50".

I might save some of it.

Oh yeah, I'd buy curtains.

[If you haven't guessed by now, I bought a new house a year ago and am still filling it up.]

I'd get a nice jack too.

Oh yeah, definately get that shed.
