Actually, I change my answer, I think you should just go with an MCE box. I know you like hacking stuff. If you think fiddling with Tivos is fun, MCE is 10x better. There are new plugins and hacks everyday to change and tweak it. The sky's the limit! I :heart: mine. I just want somebody to hack it so that the skip works like Tivo's (has that little "margin of error" so when you stop ff or rew, it clicks back a few secs).
