600 watt power supply

Wattage-wise? Looking at the PC in your sig, yes, with ease. But it seems you already have an OCZ 650W PSU?

In any case, at full load you only ever need more than 600W when you are running something in the realms of 2xGTX295. I've seen reliable power usage benchmarks of a single GTX295 hitting 400W at most, which is already a dual chip graphics card. Draw your conclusions from that in regards to a regular SLI spec with smaller GPUs. It certainly won't be any more.

My guess is that he misstated the PSU in his signature. OCZ doesn't and hasn't had a 650W PSU.

Besides I would suggest looking elsewhere if he was actually in the market for buying one.

Yeah, I don't like OCZ power supplies myself. They have had some pretty mixed (... bad) results due to cheap Chinese capacitors if I'm not mistaken.

The PSU question depends entirely on his budget though.

sorry, my sig is wrong, i dont have a ocz 650 its the 600 watt one i have :S. So you recon it will work with another gtx 260

Pure wattage wise, yes. Check your +12V and +5V values now with one card both at idle and at load and then when you have the other card check them again and compare. If they didn't drop at all or not by much then it'll be fine.

Technically as long as you don't hit the 600W limit - which you won't with that setup - your rails shouldn't drop.
