I'm wanting to upgrade my OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w PSU so that I can power future upgrades to my computer a bit better and I'm wondering if someone can suggest one in the $80 range. I'd like to get something in the 600w+ range if possible. I'm powering the following currently:
- MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 motherboard
- XFX 5770
- 2x 2GB RAM
- 1 HDD
- 1 DVD burner
- 2.2ghz Athlon x2 5000+
- 5 case fans

Near-future (2-3 months from now) upgrades include:
- Phenom II x4 3.0GHz CPU
- Sound card (yet to be decided)
- Second HDD

Long time from now future (next year, 8-10 months from now maybe):
- New full size motherboard
- Faster CPU for said motherboard
- Better GPU

I have no preference if it's modular or not but I would prefer long cables so that it's easier to hide them in my Antec 300 case. 600w+ probably isn't needed now but when I get around to building something better I'd like to be able to recycle as much of my current system as I can so getting something decent now seems to make sense to me. Can someone suggest a PSU that would fit my current, and future, needs or am I a bit short on my budget for something decent? Thanks in advance.

Here you have some good options:

ANTEC TruePower New 650W (by Seasonic) .... 82$ (after rebate)

XFX XXX Edition 650W (by Seasonic) .... 82$ (after rebate)

Corsair TX750 750W (by CWT) .... 92$ (after rebate)

ANTEC TruePower New 750W (by Seasonic) ... 92$ (after rebate)

All of them present four PCIe connectors so they are able to handle even two high performance graphic cards without using any molex-to-PCIe adapter.

The Corsair TX750 has the longest PCIe (620mm) and ATX cables (660mm). However the SATA/molex cables are shorter than in the other models. Moreover, despite being a high quality unit, the other PSUs are newer, modular and perform a bit better.
Anyway, you can't go wrong with any of these units.

You can find some qualified reviews about these and others PSUs in the "PSU Review Database": http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm
