I would like as good of a gaming computer as possible for this budget, I probably won't be over clocking though. I do have a windows cd, and all the other parts, case, hd keyboard mouse speakers monitor ram and optical drives.

Thanks for the help,
Shadow

3000+ venice (146)
epox 9npa+ (105) -OR- msi k8n neo 4 (84)
sapphire x800gto retail (176)
fortron 450w (50)

should be $477(w/ 9npa+) before shipping/tax. since you dont think you're oc'ing, you can use the extra money and switch to the msi neo4 to bump up to a 3700+ san diego.

edit: oh yeah, the video card is a gold mine, you can unlock it to 16 pipelines, and overclock it to an 850xt pe from what i heard. theres a thread about this in the hot deals section.

Leaves you just about enough to get the power supply you like. I did not shop around for the lowest prices for these components. You may be able to lower the price a bit if you do.

I haven't submitted what I thought for a new build in awhile. I will say this, though. Some may disagree with me, but I think you shouldn't slack on the motherboard. Many people like to get the cheapest mobo so they can get a faster cpu/videocard. Go with the lanparty. 6800gt is enough to push anything you through at it. 3000+ will be enough as well. The motherboard decides whether your system is going to be ROCKSOLID, or give you problems.
