It could be a rumor to slow the Osborne Effect the 9mm model maybe having on sales of the current model.

Back to the OP topic ... Buy.com is actually still allowing you to place an order for this TV, despite it showing OOS status. I couldn't resist and pulled the trigger on one. Will be interesting to see what happens, re: if they cancel the order.

Did they ever cancel your order?
