Found this on their site a few days too late for me. However maybe the rest of you can use this. Its only for genuine Windows Vista Ultimate users as when you click the link provided on the web site it will direct you to a windows validation site then direct you to evgas site.

They have an evga 8800 gts for almost 100 bucks off the original price
also the 8800 GT is 60 dollars off the original price or 50 off with crysis included.

From the evga ultimate deal:

Purchase the e-GeForce 8800 GTS w/ Crysis at an exclusive Windows Vista Ultimate price of $249.99 (originally $359.00)

Purchase the e-GeForce 8800 GT w/ Crysis at an exclusive Windows Vista Ultimate price of $199.99 (originally $249.99)

Purchase the e-GeForce 8800 GT at an exclusive Windows Vista Ultimate price of $189.99 (originally $239.99)

http://www.ultimatepc.com/#extras/products/exc_evga

Direct link to evgas site if it this works (provided in hopes our non ultimate users can get in on the deal): http://www.evga.com/VistaUltim...3ca-88f0-75ecd3f4c9fb&

Need to hurry though:
"Promotion Ends on May 30th, 2008 or 5,000 units are sold, which ever comes first."

No its not.

evga 8800 gt: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814130318 $229

evga 8800 gts: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814130312 $299 with crysis

Yes, it is.
ClubIT

Clubit has the 8800GT without Crysis for $199.99 after $30 rebate with $5 shipping.
EvGA is 189.99 no rebate and I don't know shipping.

So it looks like $10 less and no rebate hassle. Even if I am wrong about Crisys (there is no mention of it) EVGA still has no rebate hassle.

$168.50 or $180 AR eVGA 8800GT free shipping buy.com if your account gets the new $20 off $80 (or $100) google checkout promo. The promo is tied to your gc account, so it may work even if you did not see the promo email from google.

So you could buy two of them...

Edit: Stack the 5% buy.com coupon if you can for 168.50 AR AC (if 5% coupon works).
Buy.com customers take 5% OFF. Excludes Cellular. Not compatible with Affiliate program. Up to an $15.00 coupon value.

I didn't get the extra $20 off, but I ordered it anyway. I'll try sending buy.com an email for that $20 off.

I'd cancel and buy it cheaper through eVGA, unless you can convince buy.com to kick back $20. I would not expect Buy.com to do that. People with multiple accounts report that the coupon only shows up for some of their Buy.com accounts.

This is the $20 off 80 or 100 email to look for:

From: "Buy.com Coupon" <buy.com_offers@elist.buy.com>
To: <xxxxxx@xxxxxx.com>

Subject: $20 off $80 w/ Google Checkout @ Buy.com

I was wondering how long it'd take for someone to post this here. If I wasn't lazy I would have done it a few days ago. 😀

The 8800GTS 512MB + Crysis is a HOT deal at $249 with no rebates. I don't know where you can get one that cheap outside of this deal. Mine is on its way.

Thanks for posting this,as I just became in need of a video card.

I went through the second (direct) link and ordered the 8800gt with crysis with no problems.

I'm hoping to sell Crysis locally for $20 to bring the cost down to what some other 8800gt's are going for with rebates.

lol.. what kind of a sick joke is this? You can get these same evga cards for the same prices or less from many internet sites, especially during sales... Don't need to have Vista for that... The prices listed here before the $100 off are NOT realistic. These cards can be had for much cheaper than that. The last GT on the list for example costs exactly $190 or LESS if you do some searching. Who cares what it was worth "originally"? Originally my PC was worth over $1500, but now it's worth $200... lol

It's the same thing as when my mom goes to a store and buys a dress on sale, and she is so damn happy because the sticker says that this dress "ACTUALLY" costs a lot more somewhere else(or used to cost more). But it's obvious that this is exactly how much this particular dress costs anyway! (without the sale). The store just put a nice sticker on to attract buyers..

Exactly. If the card costs $200, let's sell it for $200 but tell everyone it normally costs $500 and we took $300 off! zOMG WHAT A DEAL!

Agreed on the GT, but isn't the GTS + Crysis a good deal for $250 ??? Cheapest I can find it elsewhere is $277 (AR and incl. shipping) at NE ...
