Well, this may explain why they couldn't find the kid in the attic.

Richard Henne told reporters gathered outside his house that the experimental craft was designed so people could pull out of the garage and float above traffic on the way to work.

Falcon had been getting into the box that holds all the batteries, and Henne said he had yelled at him for doing that?

Falcon said: ?I was in the attic. He scared me and he yelled at me. That?s why I went into the attic, because I thought I would get in trouble.?

Henne said the area above the garage is not like a true attic, but rafters and rough planks with drywall and PVC pipes sticking up. He said Falcon climbed up the pipe to get to his hiding place.

Sounds like only a place that a 6-year old kid get to. Of course, he had to have heard everyone calling for him and all the other commotion. And this also doesn't excuse the two older brothers for punking their parents and everybody else by saying their little brother was in the balloon.

Mayumi Heene reportedly was sitting on the couch when her son walked in to see her. Authorities never looked in the attic where the boy was hiding from his father.

To me it sounds like he said "You guys said, we did this for a show."

This was a publicity stunt. If I was a member of that community and the local authorities didn't at least try to do something about these a-holes I would be fumming mad.

Seriously. I never had an opportunity to take the keys from my parents. They were always on their person. I guess I picked up the habit because my keys are in my pocket right now.

So both of you with your claim that your parents were absolutely perfect - always had the keys with them - you both had stupid parents? That's what I would consider someone who didn't own a spare set of keys to their car. Or was it one set in the left pocket, one set in the right?

And, the parents had little alarms that kept them awake whenever you were awake - no way you could ever get up before them, except perhaps for Christmas morning. (Come to think of it, wasn't there a case where a child did exactly that - took the parents' car on Christmas morning?)

Keep pretending that your parents made it impossible to get to the car, we'll keep laughing.
I never said that my parents were perfect. Or that they made it impossible to "steal the car keys." But having it on their person was just an example. The real thing they did was raise me right so even if they left the keys right in the open I wouldn't have taken them.
But go ahead DrPizza, make your stupid assumptions. It just makes you look like an ass, not me or my parents 🙂

Ummm... Do you even read what you post? I'm not saying that you weren't raised to know right from wrong; I'm saying that *you did have the opportunity to get the keys* - that's all I claimed. If you claim otherwise, then you were among the dumbest children on the planet else you're completely full of shit. There is virtually no way a parent in a household with a car can guarantee that their child cannot get to the car. They have to rely on good parenting skills. I never claimed that the two of you weren't brought up with good values.

Again, I only claimed that you could have gotten the car keys if you wanted them. Ditto for any other child. Now, are you going to claim that despite your excellent upbringing (I'm not going to deny that either) that you never did *anything* that went against your parent's wishes?? You never once did something wrong? You never once made a foolish decision? That's the whole crux of "kids will be kids" - you simply have to hope that when (not if) your kid does something dumb that the repercussions are minor.

Why did the CNN dude pretend he didn't hear what the kid said? He should have pushed when the kid mentioned the parents told him to do it, and nailed those parents to the wall. Would have made amazing television.

I'm actually surprised that he didn't.

I hope the airlines sue them for reimbursement for all the jet fuel they burned when thier flights had to divert from Denver. That in itself will be a lot of $$$$.

It's Wolf. He's as non-offensive as possible.

Damn, CNN sucks 95% of the time now. Only good thing is that they get exclusives from time to time.

Because he is a 6 year old kid and what he says is as reliable as Miss Cleo.
