yeah, good for her, but really, who cares? there are way too many of these "child prodigy" piano players. musicians don't really impress me that much. a lot of it is just practice and repetition. sorry...

you could teach a monkey to play this shit if you spent enough time. probably the same amount of time her nazi parents make her play...

Dude!!! She is 6 years old!!! How much time do you think she had to practice??

She has played at the White House and been on the Ellen show 6+ times. And has already composed 126 songs starting at age three.

What makes her unusual is her personally composed work. Some of it is simplistic, but since she is 6, that is forgivable.

Even if slayer202's comment was true, which it isn't, composing your own music is different than playing an independent piece.

composed? i'm sure her parents had NOTHING to do with that...

I don't mind playing devil's advocate here, not trying to troll, I just don't think this is anything that special.

You think 4 hours a day is a lot? You don't know shit. Not to mention she is only six, so that fours hours a day wouldn't account to that much time.

There are adults who practice that much and still can't pass mediocrity.

I don't think her parents are smart enough to compose those pieces, though they could have hired someone.

I suppose a monkey could write the Northern Lights one too? Sounds like you are the real genious tonight. 😀

I really liked northern lights. Aside from her piano skills, she has an amazing ability to interpret mood and emotion in her playing.

what do the parents do? nothing musical? I would assume if people believe the girl composed them, it wouldn't be hard for an adult.

and 4 hours a day isn't a lot? I'd say for her age that would be even worse than an adult. and I said at least.

Wanted to emphasize the important part for slayer

slayer, the first video includes a bit of her at 2!! playing scales on the piano.

Have you ever tried to teach a 2 year old anything?? Their attention span is measured in microseconds.

for the record, lets say she gets up at 7 for school, maybe earlier. 8 hours of school, gets home conservatively at 3. I'd say playing piano before school so early would be pretty crazy.

so she plays for 4 straight hours after school until dinner at 7. that's assuming she doesn't do anything else, doesn't practice anything she learned in school. how late do 6-7 years old stay up? I'd say an hour after dinner of piano would be pretty late, considering she needs time to get ready for bed. how is that not considered a lot? are you people crazy? I can't imagine how much she plays during weekends

a 6 year old playing AT LEAST 4 hours of piano a day for a kid who I assume goes to school isn't a lot? I'm sure much more on weekend. I thank god my parents never put me through any shit like that. the kid probably has no friends because of this.

and for proof, monkey playing the piano:

(joke, but I thought it was funny, and freaky)

bwahahah, sure u did.

I think someone is jealous about not having any musical talent.

I know I am but I also think someone else in this thread is too 🙂

Do you know the word "talent"? I'm guessing no.
