I used to wear these before I got Lasik, they were the best contacts I tried in the 25 years I wore contacts. However, I must say I don't miss them! 😛
 
I just bought a bunch of these from samsclub (~$45/box), and they are tons better than acuvue2's i've worn. One thing i noticed is when i get an irritating bit on the contact it really hurts and takes a while to get rid of. my doctor hooked me up with some blink 'n clean rewetting drops and they are great. give those a shot, i believe they have some level of detergent in them that makes the drop clean better.
