Local Sams Club here in Florida has Phillips PXT1190 6 ft DVI cable for $12.63. Gold plated connectors for your viewing pleasure on that new LCD monitor or HDTV. They usually go for $30 to $40 mail order, and much more in BB or CC.

how much are dvi cables regularily? i might be looking for one since my new lcd has a dvi input, but didnt come w/ a cable.

BB sold my wife a monster dvi cable for a bargain of $100. Took it right back the next day.

Haha....those bastards at BB are ALWAYS trying to pimp monster cables.

They actually have quite a few different cables at good prices... Nice cables too...

6ft. Toslink ~ $20 is the one i picked up.

This generally the best site for cables:

I use the 2mm optical cables and they cost a $6 for 6ft. Anyone trying to sell you a thicker or better quality optical cable obviously does not comprehend the benefits of digital.

Their DVI/HDMI cables are good too.

I ordered a dvi-hdmi cable from monoprice.com's ebay site and it works perfectly between my dish HDTV receiver and Panny AE700 front projector. It cost me about $12 shipped. Same item was $70 at Blech Buy and $100 at Short-Circuit City(can you say rip-off?).

I'd like to point out that the longer your cable is (this is especially true for analog cables, but also true for digital cables) the more the quality of the signal to your monitor decreases - always try to get the shortest length of tis type of cable possible.

As good as monoprice's prices are (thats sounds weird), they seriously pissed me off. I ordered a 6 foot Gold HDMI cable off their website. A week later a 15ft non-gold HDMI cable showed up at my door.

I called them and was told, "oh we've been out of stock on the cable you ordered for weeks. We won't get any back in for another 2-3 months so we just sent you what we had"

When i questioned why the website showed it in stock, he didn't understand the question so i gave up.

Typically, i wouldn't mind getting a longer cable, but the whole freaking reason i wanted this cable was to minimize the wire mess behind the tv, and i didn't want the cable to oxidize over time (still questionable)

I would have appreciated an e-mail or call on the switch, not just a surprize.

thanks ... i was in BB yesterday looking for one.. Belkin DVI cable.. 52 bucks... CompUSA, 54 bucks.. I'm like.. Why the f*ck are they so expensive, its a cable.. The guys like.. This is Belkin man, you are getting good stuff. I'm like.. I'll find them online.. thanks though chump.

not to intrude, i'll probably snag one of those 6ft dvi cables at sam's club also. But does anyone know a cheap place to get DVI to VGA (for video cards)? You can get them at newegg, but you pay more in shipping than the actual product. 🙁 Or if anyone has any, PM me. 🙂

Best prices on DVI cables in Ebay. I have purchased through Ebay on several occassions and never paid more than $6 for a 6' cable.
