hmmm... that seems kind of expensive seeing how you can get a normal burger for about a $1-$1.50 (in and out)

The $6 burger is like nothing out there, have you had one? They're great.

i tried one a year ago. it tasted like a giant famous star. maybe i will try one again later

Oh, how I miss G.D. Ritzy's from Columbus OH. The best Cheesburgers and Hot Dogs I ever had.

Of course Steak & Shake is pretty good too.

Too bad in SoCal the most exciting thing is In&Out, which I think tastes rather bland. 🙁

With all this talk about burgers, I got hungry and decided to try the "Six Dollar Burger." My opinion: definitely NOT worth $6. Not even worth the $3 that they're selling them for. 3 0.99 Whoppers would be a better deal. They taste better AND you get more.

and if there's anything else, check out this site. it's pretty interesting...In-N-Out Secret Menu

close: the flying dutchman is two patties and two slices of cheese.... and that's it. no bun, no lettuce, no nothing, just meat and cheese, hehehe.

I lived there for many years. I really liked fuddruckers. In-n-out was top of the line also.

I've had the $6 burger, it's pretty good. I like In-N-Out as well, nothing says "California" like a double double--and the fries and shakes are great.

BUT, if you want a GREAT fast food burger there is only one: FATBURGER on the "char" with everything on it!!

man.. i went to another carl's today.. they sold me 2 for 6 bucks =(
i duno if that's worth it.. i think getting 2 for 4 bucks is pretty good though.
and yeah.. in 'n out or fatburger both taste better than carl's imo.

LOL.. in n out burgers are great.

on a side note.. cut out a "b" and a "rs" and you've got the "In 'n Out Urge" 😀.

Went and tried fuddruckers burger today and it tasted like meatloaf moms make.
Goo-Lor... how could you even think to compare in-n-out's with them. :disgust:
xsquid, you cost me a decent meal today... 🙂

In 'N Out is great and Carl's is good too, but come on guys: Tommy's up in the LA area. None here in San Diego but those were and will always be the best!

To expand on what ebayjc said, you can get the red bumper stickers from IN 'N OUT that look like this:

IN 'N OUT
BURGER

and cut off the B and the R so it looks like this:

IN 'N OUT
URGE

Then put it on your chick magnet car, so your intentions are clear. :-D

Disgusting, and it's off of their official site, but seriously though...

Can anyone second what corinthos said about TGI Friday's burger being better than In-n-Out's?
I was in LA for a week and went back to I&O like 4 times. It's hard to believe TGI can even come close... can it?

P.S. Devil's Postman: I take it this "Tommy's" is in CA only as well?

Tommy's has the BEST chili burgers for sure. But for non chili burgers it's In-N-Out hands down.

Oh..and for dogs it has to be Pinks!

I've never had it....but I think the TGI Fridays burger is what Carls is refering to when comparing itself to a "Six Dollar Buger".
