thereds - You don't know who PAB is? For shame!

coldcut - Thanks to Mr. CitiBank who was gracious enough to lend me $4k of course I have to pay him back in about 7 weeks 🙁 my cc statement just cut last week.

You're selling them with cmoputers aren't you? I don't see how you can sell them straightup and expect to get more than 750 average for each one...

No, separately but I may bundle in a free domain and web hosting haven't decided yet.

Who knows if/when they'll ever ship.

Ok I'm not quite up to PAB status just yet since I don't have a pallet of computers but I'm getting there.

I have a strategy for selling these on eBay and will probably get $800 plus $50 shipping for each.

Best way to sell them is not to use a reserve...

On second thought I should have done that but I run the risk of the orders being cancelled due to the $40 off $450 coupon.

His monitor (the 6th one) has now cost him like 70 odd dollars. Pretty sweet deal unless i've missed something.

yeah you forgot the ebay listing fees and shippping fees. Not the mention paypal fees if you go through paypal business account.

eBay fees suck.

I have decided to only accept non-cc Paypal from a VERIFIED Paypal member who has a CONFIRMED shipping address, BidPay, Money Order and Cashier's Checks. No cc-Paypal.

MAD FERENGI SKEELZ!!!

My rough estimates would mean an easy $560 profit (approx, if selling all 6)

Sell each for $850 on egay = 5100

Insertion Fee (no reserve) $0.30 x 6 = $1.80
Final Value Fee (assuming sells for $800) = 23.31 (5.25% of the initial $25 ($1.31), plus 2.75% of the remaining closing value balance) x 6 = 139.86
Total eGay Fees = 141.66

Assume 3 people pay with Paypal, and The Grand Nagus has a Merchant account.
(850 x 2.2%) + $0.30 x 3 = $57.00

Assume $25 shipping cost per
$25 x 6 = $150

Total fees and shipping = $348.66

Amount Received = $5100
Fees Paid = 348.66
Net Received = 4751.34

Amount paid after discount, coupons, etc = $4187.70

Net Profit = $563.64

Not bad for prolly a couple hours time spent clicking on stuff 🙂 That title is well deserved!

IF he can sell them for $800 + $50 s/h, that's probably with a flooded market.

I'm just saying this because I wouldn't have the balls/cash to do this kind of deal. 🙂

why didn't you use the $40 off coupon?

I would have done this on 6 different purchases, buy 5 more of the 10% at fatwallet for $3 each = $15 more invested total for $40 less on each one.

would have made an additional $225 off the deal.

You shouldn't have a hard time selling these.

I really don't see getting $850 for them though...

Good Luck...you're a brave man.🙂

Well me either, but thats why my name doesn't say grand nagus under it.

codeyf - Add an additional $57 to the savings because I have a personal paypal account, no credit card Paypal 🙂

Wow, that's a lot of bank. Should be a quick ~10% profit if it all works out for you, though.

and I haven't even touched my $10,000 Fleet Platinum VISA yet.

It's paid off and I'd like to keep it that way.
