hey genuises carls jr. and hardees are the same resteraunt, same commercials, most of the same food, just different names in different parts of the country, ie. carls jr. in denver, hardees in KC
 
Erm, not quite. Carl's bought out Hardees, true, and has moved some menu over to Hardees, but some stuff is still a bit different (the sourdough burgers are different, for example.) Hardees was pretty strong in some midwest areas, but couldn't cut it in others, I guess.
 
I had one yesterday, I will diffently go back for another, they are huge and really good...at least in Iowa. They beat the big mac in taste btw...but that is just MHO.
 
anything beats the big mac.. They've always tasted horrible.. I had a $6 burger back in december and it kicked ass.. It was sooo good!
 
However most of your 6 dollar burgers come with fries too..Add fries to a hardees 3.95 burger and you are not too far from 6 then, and you are still in a fast food place
 
I can't believe anybody over the age of 8, or people that still have taste buds still eat at McDonalds.
Hardees, Burger King, and Wendys are way better. And then there are your local Fast Food places that are usually better. YMMV
 
Why do people still get these 2000 calorie, 2 sandwich meal deals when they could just have a Grande meal with the same nutritional value and 4x the food?
 
My g/f and I went out and used the coupon a couple days ago. The lady at the counter never saw the coupon before. I told her I got it off the internet and she shrugged and said "OK".

The burger was mighty fine though!
 
I'm kind of a Burger junkie (I know they aren't good for me but you have to splurge every once in a while), and I can tell you that the Hardees $6 burger definately isn't anywhere near as good as a $6 burger from say Chili's or Ruby Tuesday. They really don't taste all that different from Hardees regular burgers. They are a little better, but definately not "high quality" by any means. In my opinion Hardees makes the worst fast food burger in the business. Well, mcdonalds burgers are pretty scanky too (Soy burger). Wendy's probably has the best tasting burger among the super cheap drive-thru chains. Jack in the box are disgusting. They remind me of spam or some supercheap processed meat product.

If you really want a good burger get the Ground Peppercorn Burger from Chili's or the 3 Cheese bacon cheesburger from Ruby Tuesday. Stay away from the Colossal Burger from Ruby Tuesday..........no healthy adult could possible get their mouth over a burger that size. LOL

Never! I love jack in the box burgers! I'd take a sourdough jack over anything else! As for the 6 dollar burger, it tastes great, i've had it a few times from Carl's Jr and its huge and delicious!
 
on the bottom it says valid at Hardee's restaurant in East Virginia, so would this coupon be valid in the west coast? I doubt it though because hardee's is called "Carl's Jr." here in SoCal

carl's jr bought out hardees on the east coast. but argh they still have to bring the western bacon cheeseburger out here...
 
I usaed to live where we had a carls junior. The burgers were outstanding. Now I live where there are hardees. They sucked before carls junior bought them out and still do. They don't flame broil like C's JR does, they have the same menu pretty much but fry the burgers. I asked them why they don't flame broil the burgers here and they said "Carl's Junior decided that people in this part of the country prefered their burgers fried". I guess that's why hardees are vacant around here and burger king is packed.
 
The form says that it should be turned in to a Hardees in Eastern Virginia.

Does this mean the coupon is only good in Eastern Virginia, where ever that is....????
