nothing ever happened on those days... so why would there be anything so special about 6/6/2006? It's just a marketing gimmick for those who lack common sense to make them paranoid.

It's all a marketing gimmick. The date has ZERO religious significance.
 
If the fedex guy kicks you in the nuts, then maybe you be worry. If he doesn't, maybe someone else will just to make you feel better about losing your damn data.
