We need to just move on to DST for ever. I'd even take DST+1. The sun sets at 6:11 today. Sunday it will be around 5:11. 7:11 would be so much better since it's finally nice enough to go outside.

I hate winter for that. Don't really see sun light except for days off.

Summer is awesome, starts to get lighter out by like 4am, sun is out by 5 and it stays around till like 10pm. Too bad that only lasts a few months though.

This. I'm already used to waking up in the dark. Now I'm going to have to go through the pain of waking up with less and less light each day again, and for what? To lose an hour at the end of the day?

DST does not really change much. No matter what way you put it it will be dark when you get up and dark when you get home. At this time of year it does a slight difference but that lasts for a few weeks till days continue to get shorter. Could be worse though, go more north and there practically is no days during winter.

Well, maybe in Canada. Here around 30°N, the days stay a fairly decent length.

Oh yeah that far south it's probably not too bad. I'm at like 48n.

Yep, you're at almost two hours less daylight than we are at the solstice.
