these are my favorite cdrs..
just picked up 500 of them for 80 bucks with free shipping.
Use the 25 off 100 coupon and you to can get the same deal.
:)
They say 16x on them, but people burn faster then that.
They are 80 minutes but of course.
Up to 1 million life cycle use and 70 year life span.

Hmm. I Just went to the store, the Memorex were marked 39.99 and they rang up 39.99. I saw the AD online, and I asked if there was a instore AD and they said no. I then spoke with the manager, he insisted that OfficeMax did not release a AD this week. Oh well, I will try another store later this week and see whats up.
Anybody have any luck getting this in store?

I had the same thing happen...........they rang up normal price.......I showed the manager a print out of the ad and he gave me the 19.99 price and the rebate is in the newspaper they have setting by the registers.................he said no problem and he was going to pick up some for himself.........so moral of story is.....document....print it out.........

I just picked some of these up this morning. They had a special sale tag on the shelf. And they rang up correctly (19.99) and the rebate is in the newspaper catalog near the registers. The person at the register gave me the wrong catalog first. She gave me last weeks. Make sure you get the right one. The memorex cdr rebate isn't in the lodl one.

They are 80 min cdr's and mine says 32x on the side. They burn fine at 32x on my Lite-On:)

This was at the Mall 205 store in Portland, Oregon. They have lots left.

check your pms for WHERE to find the coupons
alright, yeah... actually, i always think that the online ad echoes the store ad, but anyway choose store location and the rest to find the ad for the stores in one's area
make sure the skus match also
good luck

edit: "The person at the register gave me the wrong catalog first. She gave me last weeks. Make sure you get the right one."
that's right. i meant to mention that i saw the shelf tags being put out yesterday afternoon when i was buying the last of the $9.99 hivals. one of my girls puts the new tags out, and she was saying that she has to do it on saturday even though she's not scheduled to work because they mess them up and she has an even bigger workload on monday when she comes in...

Great deal... my office max had a big disply with the $19.99-minus $10 rebate... they had spindles of 24x, 32x, and 40x.

Since OfficeMax accepts competitor coupons, just print out the $50 off $200 Staples coupon (get from F*twallet). If you don't live in the New York area, just Photoshop that part out. What I did was replace the header with the header from last month's $30 off $150 coupon (the one that says "Brand-name quality without the brand-name price").

$20 x 10
-$50 coupon
-$10 rebate
=$140.00 for 2000 CD-Rs = 7.5 cents per CD

The thing that sucks about this deal is that there is a one rebate limit. I was drooling at the thought of 10 rebates, that would make it $50 for 2000 CDs, hehe. If anyone finds a way around the rebate issue, please post.

Just got back from Office Max. Look for the 40x rated spindles. They look a little different than the 32x spindles. They say Made in Japan on the side. CD-R Identifier shows them as Taiyo Yudens... Great deal. Memorex finally going with quality CD-R makers now?

I bought 5 spindles.

4 were made in Taiwan and 1 was made in Japan.

For some reason I can't get CD-R Identifier to work after I flashed my Lite-On to the latest firmware (released 6/4), but I assume the spindle made in Japan are TY and the Taiwan ones are.....?

Even stranger, I opened one of the made in Taiwan spindles and there were some CD-Rs with silver dye and some with green dye.
