Finally hit 6,000 completly stock cooled running in a AMD64 s754 3200+ @2.5ghz on a ASUS K8N-e
Did the VCORE/VDDQ/VDD volt mods using a #2 pencil. X800 Pro is clocked @ 612/635 Volts are...
VCORE = 1.5v
VDDQ = 2.17v
VDD = 2.09
I soldered a copper tube (2" wide by 14" long) thats rdy to go for dry icing this sucker when I get some more time. I dunno if this is the highest clock for stock cooling but it's gotta be up there.
Heres the marks... http://img127.exs.cx/img127/8484/3dmark056so.jpg
And here she is!!! http://img127.exs.cx/img127/992/img06728hq.jpg

Who said a stock cooled 12 pipe pro couldn't beat an XT PE? 😛

Very nice. I was just browsing some of the 3dmark05 scores and your score is MUCH higher than the highest x800 Pro and ranks pretty high with the x800 XT's. The x800 XT PE's are very high, though: 8000+ for some.

Still, extremely impressive.

Woah, thats crazy. My friend has been trying to hit 6000 for a long time, but has failed miserably every single time and complains to me about it. Glad to see SOMEONE can do it with that card.

Already tryed the hardmod by soldering the traces then flashed the bios, still said 12 pipes but had some insane artifacts while benching even at stock speeds. Pipes are just bad, ive had to face that realization =(. Was an insane solder job tho, i didnt have any conductive paint haha. Took about 40 mins to solder a thin copper strand between em.

I'm thinking I'm gonna dry ice it once I get some time, I already have a copper tube I soldered together a while ago to OC my 2700+ XP. Got it up to 3.1ghz. I think I can hit 7000 3dmarks with a 12 pipe card hopefully. Time will tell. Here's a pic from that project a while ago if anyones interested.

Thats insane I only get 5693 with my X800 XT but that's at stock. And, most XT's don't get 6000 unless they are OC'd. They had a benchmark post on HardOCP and I got the highest stock XT on there. Most XT PE's get 6000 without OC.

You should get an ATI silencer, I would never volt mod without better cooling, at least on nvidia, maybe ati's cards dont get as hot.

I have a X800 Pro that I've tried to OC and then run 3DMark05. Im using ATI tool. But whenever I run it, it comes back with stock speeds. Should I leave ATI tool up when running or minimize it? I should be getting way more than I currently am.

Are you setting the clock? or just typing it in. Make sure you hit set clock. If you are doing that, it could be resetting the VPU with VPU recover. Try overclocking the core and memory by 5mhz and bench and come back and see if its still at 5mhz higher. If it is, your overclocking too high and its resetting itself.

Nice score.

I just got 5500 with a 6800GT @ 415 /1130

CPU @ only 2.3ghz

I think I can clear 6K.

Will post a screen shot if anyone can tell me how to take one on a the Apple Keyboard.

😛

I'm calling BS on this !!!
Please bench again and let us see th 3DMark05 score so that it doesnt cover up the settings at which you ran the test at...I bet it wasnt at 1024 x 768 !!!!!!!

my eVGA 6800LE@465x1325 pulls 5600 on my crummy barton, i'm sure it could do much better with your AMD64 🙂

i'm not really worthy of this card considering how much effort you guys put into optimizing. i just ran my benchmark with a bunch of crap running in the background

that is a ridiculous OC for that card!!!!!
and yeah the barton is holding you back all the way. you could push some serious FPS with a stronger CPU.

I don't optimize, just reboot and run =O

Come on man, thats a different system there then the pics you posted in first post:

First post: 512mb ram
That link : 1024mb ram

First post: 2.5 GHz
That Link: 2398 MHz

You gotta fake it better then that!!!

We still wanna see a pic of the 3DMark05 screen after you run a Bench that shows the screen size settings along with your 6000+ score!!!
