How fast can 5ns be OC'ed to in a geforce? I have it currently at 550 and I'm curious if its my proc or memory that cant be pushed any more. Thanks for any speedy replies.

To figure out max rated frequency just do 1/Period
therefor in your case 1/ 5e-9
=200 MHz with DDR your RAM is rated for 400 MHz, 550 MHz is a very healthy OC

ok ill translate that to english.... 😉

1000 / 5ns = 200mhz, 400mhz ddr

running it at 550mhz stable is damn good.

Actually to get real pure on it

1/.000000005 sec = 200,000,000 Hz i.e 200Mhz

I'm able to run the 5ns ram on my Palit Daytona GF3 Ti200 at 530Mhz too, never imagined 5ns ram ot do that well. And the heatsinks aren't applied well, doens't cover the ram modules fully (2mm on each side of the ram modules aren't covered by the heatsink and they're applied with some tape.
It woun't go faster than 530 though, xarar, consider yourself lucky. According to what I've read even 4.5ns doesn't necessarily do that well.
