596 PCMark 05 score???

JD50

Lifer
I just ran PCMark05 2 times and the first time I got a score in the 700s and this time my score was 596. I just build my rig yesterday, X2 3800, 7800 GT, 2gb OCZ ddr400 ram, 300gb Maxtor10 HDD. My other benchmarks I have run have been average for the hardware that I have. Could this low score be because it is the free version and they don't test everything, or is there something wrong with my rig? http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcm05=98904

Uhh, something is VERY wrong there. You should be in 7000+.
I've only used the free version and I get ~52xx.
Make sure you have the latest chipset and VC drivers installed from the web, not the CD's that came with the hardware.

7000+ should be for 3dmark05, not Pcmark05 (I think)

Looks like there is something wrong with your hard drive scores. Both the hd test are registering 0s for you. You beat me in almost every other category but I score 3240 with a P4 3.0E. I suspect the test isn't detecting your hard drive and it's throwing your total score off.

What version of the chipset drivers are you using, seems to be a common problem where the hard drive scores are being reported as NA, or 0.000 in several catagories. I updated to the 6.66 version of the nvidia chipset drivers, and PCmark05 started to run properly.

I just updated my mobo drivers and then windows wouldnt boot up. The screen with the windows logo just stayed up and it never went into windows. So I rebooted into safemode and installed the drivers from my motherboards install disk. Any idea would could be going on here?
