I am a sniper so...

playing regular....15-19fps
zoomed up on scope.....35-38fps

BUT, BF42 utilizes ALOT of CPU...so you need a BIG cpu, ALOT of RAM, and a good vid card

since I only have an AMD Athlon XP 2200+, and 512 RAM, it might be hindered a bit.

I get more FPS with my 1700+ and Radeon 8500! 30 to 40fps!

I've been playing 1600x1200 in Battlefield. No AA or AF though. Looks great and since I have a 17" monitor on it for the moment with that resolution and the fact the screen is small not much need for AA or AF anyway IMO.

in ur case AF would be more appropiate, because once u run into the monitor's res limit, AA quality is more unoticable
