Yep, that is the normal price. Amazon and Tiger Direct have it at the same price.

Got one of these from the 'egg back in July for ~$50, I think. Put in in a 7850k rig for my son, has worked great so far.

If specs are the end-all be all of your purchases, look at the IOPS rating of this drive...I don't recall ever benchmarking it, although it supplies a typical SSD boot experience. and seems to do just fine

I have the 64 GB version of this drive and one thing I noticed at the time of purchase was a very low (for a SSD) 4K random write.

It still does well though, but you are right in that this drive is near the bottom (or at the bottom) with respect to 4K read and write IOPS.
