Yea this one isn't gonna be cheap. I plan to grab one but have a limit set. 5850 CF will be a 2nd choice if X2 cost is over the top.

5850 = $259 CF = $518
5870 = $379 CF = $758
5870x2 = $499 CF = $1000
rumored 5850x2 = $479

price/performance win is the 5850 CF (if you plan to overclock) Unless the 5870X2 can clock high, and i don't think it can, 5850 cf is still the price/perf leader of the current 5800 series cards. If and when they do release a 5850X2, it will also be a good card for the money. People are already overclocking reference 5870's to 1050/1400 on air, and a fudo article pointed at 5850's overclocking nicely as well.
