56k gaming

For many years I used a 26.4k modem connection as my internet connection. The phone company upgraded the lines and I now connect at 49.2k. I used to be able to play games such as counter-strike just fine on my 26.4k connection. I now download twice as fast as I did before, and I want to play counter-strike on the internet from 2 different computers. Two computers cannot play online at the same time dispite the fact that my bandwidth is doubled. Is there a way that I can split my connection evenly between the two computers, maybe only allowing each to use 2kb/s or something.
I am using ICS that came with winxp.

Whoa, I would be floored if you could 'share' a dialup connection at that speed. Obviously you can set it up to do so, but whether or not the speed will be feasible is highly doubtful. What were your pings in CS before? I remember when I had a 56k, it would only connect at like ~25k, and I was getting ridiculous pings.

~300 ping, it wasnt a laggy 300 ping it was quite playable. My ping now is ~200. Is there a proggy or something that will limit the bandwidth usage of an appilcation so i can set it to about 2.5k or something?

thx
