I dont know much about folding, can you earn money with folding?

No. Folding@Home studies protein folding (and misfolding) and related diseases such as Alzheimer's, ALS, Huntington's, Parkinson's, and many cancers.

I'd been looking at upgrading my video card (8800GTS) for a while. So, every time a new card came out I checked the specs and looked for reviews. The 460 was on my radar for a long time. But, I'd see the 1GB version vs. 768, followed by SE and could not push myself to buy one. Then the 560TI came out, but the price had me checking out the 57xx and 58xx Radeons, which were very competitive in price and prerformance. Recently the 560 hit the market. Price was better, but the idea of a GPU that had parts disabled bothered me.

Well, last weekend Fry's had an ad for a "GTX 560 SC" that included Crysis 2 for $229 after MIR. I did some searching and found that this was actctually the TI card. I figured they would include a coupon for Crysis 2, which was ok. I found one of the last 2 boxes on the shelf and was really impressed. On the box it is called the "GTX 560ti Maxium Graphics Edition" that included not only a copy of Crysis 2, but also a Crysis 2 t-shirt. Following is a link of what I got with the specs: http://www.evga.com/articles/00622/

I figure this will do me for a few years.

Yeah, but its a rebate "card" instead of an actual check. While I do buy a lot of stuff I'd rather have the cash in hand.

They were pretty good with the rebate card at least. I sacrificed $3 for express service and had an amex gift card in hand within two weeks of mailing out the stuff. Spent at Costco without hassle.
