What's the Fastest Card for Folding?

Here you go Mark :)

Grab this Galaxy for $200 and you are looking at 950-1000mhz overclock, easily matching a stock GTX570 for $100 less. Plus it is easy to clean from dust.

The main difference between a 560 and the Ti version is that 560 has 336 SPs clocked anywhere from 820 to 925mhz, depending on the model, while the Ti version has 384 SPs, also with varying clock speeds. Both should overclock about the same.

google? look at reviews? the Ti has all shaders enabled and non Ti has 48sp cluster disabled and slightly lower clock. its NOT a gtx460 though and is gf114 just like the Ti.

I meant it had the same # of cores (same speed at the same clocks). But yea its a refined core with minor tweaks so it should run cooler than a 460.

just save your nickels and dimes and just gt a gtx580:p and stop playing nvidias mindfuck game, god i hate their naming of video cards whats next the gtx565? what ever happened to budget, low range, mid range, high end, server?we have like 3 cards per class with just as much confusion and then we have the gtx570 hd with the shitty cooler very original hey fans of nvidia buy our cheaper less improved gtx570 now your card can run hotter then ever!all kidding aside i doubt the lack of shaders in the non ti gtx560 makes any difference if little, just get a used gtx460 and save some dough:d

rumours are nvidia has a new revised gtx590 out now oh yeah hope this one doesnt sound like a blow dryer like the 6990 does and before you call me skeptic yeah i did test drive that card its LOUD so loud my gf whined about how it kept her up i had to return it merely for that reason alone now we can wait for the gtx565 and the gtx575 to confuse a couple more people before we have the 600 series hoping that revised gtx590 isnt the"keep your gf from sleeping edition" lol

Also if your any kind of a good person, you would have the common courtesy of sending me a private message with some examples.Maybe you two have been posting in forums before i ever touched a keyboard so i apologize for my"newbie" ways.

So send me a couple private messages please?

This is the second forum post where Phy followed me in the forums and called me out.
Is his job just to read forums and be my language arts teacher? So get off my ass.

you are a very angry man. all of your posts are condescending to other users. why bother posting if you're going to be rude and obnoxious in all of your replies? i'm sorry mods for the "personal attack", but this guy personally attacks everyone and is a huge prick to anyone that asks a question or offers input that is not in line with his own.

anyway OP, it really depends on the rest of your rig. both cards could perform near the same depending on your resolution. if you're just folding with it like all your other rigs, then the ti is going to gave you more. judging by all the folding going on, i don't think it's going to make that big of a difference unless you find the ti for a really good deal :)

why dont you pay attention to the context of my post here before responding? I was trying to be nice to him and there was not one thing rude in what I said to him. I was simply following up on him getting upset about what Phynaz had said to him.

Hey like the fart thing in the sig nanaki pretty funny stuff.I am with you with the ti suggestion im considering a gtx560 as a second add in folding card myself.

If what you said about toyota is true,i wont pay much mind then i havent been in here that long,so im new to the who to avoid who not to kinda story.

Also i posted in toms hardware a couple times concerning a power supply question and i posted like i did before with no problems, both forums look the same to me.
