If I could get an iPhone 4 cheaper now than what it currently costs I would probably trade in my inspire for it and avoid the hype and standing in line for the 5. Not like 99.999% of the software won't run on it

LOL, these threads always bring out the worst in people 🙂

Its amazing how worked up people will get over a phone. Mine is better... uhh un, mine is..., blah blah blah.
Whats more is they will blindly follow their choice and parrot the same thing over and over thinking that if they say it enough it will become true.

Btw

Apple sucks.

Heh... 😀

What I love are the articles by analysts saying WM phones and tablets will dominate the market in a few years...

The bad thing about these so called studies is when these analysts (magical creatures who have abilities you don't) get it wrong as they so often do, it just fades out of existence..There should be consequences, harsh, painful consequences.

Here is an idea: Someone should run study about analyst studies.

1 out of 10 studies could actually be considered useful, 4 are captain obvious, the other 5 are just LSD trips.

Point of order: Apple does not suck. Their litigation practices do, and their fan club are the lowest of the low, and are the epitome of arrogance. However, Apple's products are solid, but not necessarily the best.
Lol this post has so much irony. First of all, every single fanboy is like this. I don't want it to sound like a personal attack but just look at your post history and you can see a trend among your posts that you favor Android. That's fine because if you look at my post history you can see that I prefer iOS but when it comes down to calling names like they have the "lowest of the low," you can make that case against any fanbase of any product. :\ So why single out Apple's fanbase? There are times when certain posters here make blanket statements like yours without realizing they themselves have become what they dislike about "Apple fanboys."

i think android phones with their faster chips and bigger screens are better for people who like the web, iphone is for folks who like to pay for apps. im the first type, ive never bought an app

Ignorance is bliss, but, to burst your bubble, all but one of my iOS apps and almost all of my games are free and awesome.

This. So much this. At least a lot of Apple fanboys openly state their love for the brand. He tries to hide behind some shroud of impartiality, which is laughable. And ironic.

I think this has a lot to do with the constant stream of new android devices with better and better specs being released. I like apple, but I certainly wouldn't get an iphone 4 over some of the newer android phones if I needed one right now.

Lot's of people with 3GS and upgrade elegibility waiting on the sideline to see what the iPhone5/4GS will end up being like.

Let's revisit the stats from October through year end and see how they look.

🙂

Not sure why this is a shocker, everybody and their grandma is selling at least half a dozen different models Android phones, and you can't throw a stick without hitting a new model that's coming out.

Personally, as much as I enjoy the potential freedom the Android OS allows, as a IT person, having to deal with 6 different versions of email clients across Android based phones get's to be a hassle, especially when I don't have one myself. Also doesn't help that the Exchange email client built into a lot of Android builds is inconsistent at best. I've gotten to the point where I tell people either to buy Touchdown for their Android from the app store or go to their phone company for support.

I'm no Apple fanboy, but out of 30+ sales reps, the only sales reps I ever have come with me with issues related to receiving email on their phones are Android users.

I had a 3GS and would be eligible for an upgrade to the iPhone5/4GS.. Ended up getting a GS2 and don't regret it at all. I do agree that a majority of the owners are waiting though.
