Note to self: Do not have your DVDROM in PIO mode..

DMA is helpful.

Stupid Windows...DMA should be default on DVD Roms.


That's ok thanks anyhow...lol I was having trouble getting my DVDs to play. All fixed now.
 
the quality is pretty good. its a standard-level dvd player. It's definitly no top-of-the-line player, but it plays dvd's well.. if you want a ps2 for the games and a dvd as a little bonus its good, but dont buy it just for the dvd player. theres players that are cheaper and better.
 
LOL no...like I said I was having some trouble with my DVDROM...but I figured it out. I have access to a PS2 and I was wondering if it's a decent player having never used it for that. But I've fixed the problem with my DVDROM.
