LOL, why do you guys go on about $h!t you can't even afford or build yourself in the 1st place.

Brag about your OWN $h!t!!

Lets see and hear about things you do YOURSELF. I want to know HambergerPimp what kinda fuel setup YOU are running to support your 100% DOT legal project car, not some moron you found on the internet 😛

you just wait till I finish up my 1000hp Yugo with a Lada engine! 😉 😀

9s in the 1/4mi baby...it'll blow up half way thru, but will have enough momentum to keep it going till the 1/4mi and eventually the brick wall to still get 9s!
LOL 😉

I'll be ready at the line for ya with my 100% DOT legal Jet Engine Ford Fiesta, when I'm done I am gonna sell Bragging Rights to the highest bidder on Ebay 😉

I'm afraid Jay Leno has beat you on that one. Ever head of the Ford SHOgun? It's a Ford Fiesta with a Cosworth-massaged SHO V6 that is apparently quite the screamer (ok so its not powered by a Jet engine, but Leno's motorcycle is!!!).

Now if you had a jet engined Corolla, you might be on to something!

Let's put it this way... the WRX has a weaker tranny... the engine is not as bulletproof strong and it was orginally built for rally... and who's Mitsubishi's rally car? The Evo... which has owned the WRX ever since the rivalry started in terms of sheer performance. The JDM production cars, the Evo still owns Subaru except for it's "ringer" Spec C.

4G63 > EJ20... 650>550.

IMHO, 550Hp from nitrous WRX isn't very big deal. I've seen over 500Hp (509 from the wheels if I rememer corretly, without nitrous!) Ford Sierra with 2L turbocharged engine. It doesn't have any fancy rims or spoilers and the owner is using it as daily driver.

Some pics of it:

More amusement: how about ~600Hp Moskvitch 2140 with 1,5L (mostly original!) engine? 🙂

Best time it has ran is 10.5 sec...

Very nice.
You ever own a DSM? I have. Fast as they are, fun to drive as they are, they're one of the most unreliable cars built in the last 20 years. Speed means jack sh!t when the car's always in the shop. End of story.
And despite some popular opinion, DSM's were not built solely by Mitsubishi, they were built by Diamond Star Motors, a joint Chrysler-Mitsubishi venture that manufactured its cars at a Chrysler plant in Flat Rock, MI. The EVO is built in Japan. And to say that the EVO "has owned the WRX ever since the rivalry started" when Subaru has all the trophies...

Yes, I own a 2G DSM... yes, I know they break, especially when your shoving 450whp through it as a DD, it's the friggin tranny/drivetrain usually. I'm sure a WRX would break too with that state of tune (without upgraded tranny) Yes, crankwalk on 2Gs is da suck. Working on the boxer is da suck too, I know some DSMers that have WRXs now... they now officially hate spark plugs 😛

I haven't had anything other than typical high mileage maintenance. But then again, I'm not pushing too much power due to $$ and autocross classing.

Subaru has all the trophies? What about Tommi and his trophies? Granted the current WRC Evo is da suck... the respective factory cars are still faster.
