There was a smoking deal for the system above with a 9-cell battery and 160GB HDD for $399. Notebook is a monster, but can't argue for that price!

I've seen the Vostro 1000 go down to that level, but never the 1500. That's an awesome price!
 
I haven't been keeping up with notebook or Dell prices. Is the above config posted by OP good deal on this notebook?

I think it was up for only a few hours. I probably should have bought a few more, especially since next day shipping was included. Didn't cost me anything extra to have that monster sent to Alaska!
 
The Deal is Still working for me.

Vostro's might be thick and clumsy looking but they are actually durable and great performers on all around.

they are taking about a separate deal on the same vostro which expire
