from Palm Beach County, and Miami/Dade county the certified tally gives the election to AL GORE!!

Do you think Palm Beach County has that many votes hidden in the 8000 disputed they need to count?

Edit..............................................................

Will PB ballots even be included?

You need a program to keep up with this show. ;)

Me not so sure now :(

Let the court jousting begin!!

Better yet, does anyone think they'll actually get them counted in time? Also, 465 votes needed for what? This count will effectively produce......nothing!

I have no doubt that the Democrats running the show will manufacture the needed votes on Gore's behalf. But, that really doesn't matter. There are four words that explain why: United States Supreme Court.

Do you think Palm Beach County has that many tampered votes hidden in the 8000 disputed (with good reason) they need to count?

Me thinks they do. ;)

Also, don't mean to "nit-pick" but it seems that the 465 doesn't add in the 57 now picked up by Bush so better make it 530 just to be safe...........still won't settle anything though!:)

Updated facts.......PBC asked for an extension to the 5PM deadline and didn't get it! They will now use the Nov. 7th results unless they finish before the deadline according to the news!

I think Miami/Dade is a contested county tommorow.

MSNBC has not declared the SoS has refused the extension. Even so,if that is true they would use the Nov 7,I'm sure that would become a contested county as well.

Gore has declared he will not concede based on todays results.

This sure makes for high drama!;)

Tripleshot - you should at least keep a side list of the possible votes. The 157 Miami-Dade are known.

I really do not feel bad for PBC. They took Thanksgiving off after the Florida Supreme Court clearly gave them a deadline. Right before, the Democrats dragged them into court to argue about dimples. As far as i can tell, PBC is considering dimples in determining intent, they're just not saying it is an automatic vote.

ps - the court case tomorrow on the absentee ballot requests also could be key.

Are you refering to the 4700 ballots republicans certified in Seminole County? That one is murky, but should that happen, those are 4700 Bush votes that would be thrown out. I think that is the jest of what the dems are asking for. I don't see alot of hope on that though. That is a sticky one.;)

I'm sure they wouldn't use the Nov. 7th results. Remember Gore picked up several hundred votes in the mandatory recount and I'm pretty sure they would go with those numbers.

Bush is still leading by 408 votes with 3 hours left.

Palm beach has asked for a extension to 9am monday I hope Harris say no way. I mean the Florida supreme court said 5pm sunday. It should stick with that phony made up deadline.

Bush has won how many re-counts ?

Time for Gore to concede !

Considering that the PBC has 2200 ballots left to count, with just 3 hours to go, and the fact that Bush has a net gain of 46 through this whole recount up to these remaining 2200 in PBC, it's going to be very hard for the board to find a net gain of 500 votes for Gore.

Tripleshot - Not ballots, absentee ballot requests. If there were Republicans or Democrats screwing around with actual ballots, then I would say that they should be thrown out.

There actually are more issues than just that one, it seems that both parties used pre-printed forms that violate the letter of the law. The law on requests is very recent and super strict because of major absentee ballot problems in the recent past.

The Seminole County lawsuit is about the rebublicans going behind closed doors and adding numbers to ballots to authenticate them(I think). That involved 4700 ballots, which Seminole county says were mixed with 10000 others. That is the only outstanding issue on absentee ballots the Dems are talking about in Florida. The Reps are arguing the miltary ballots still, but that is mute as far as I know, since they pulled there suit in one court, and have instead gone to 4 or 5 other counties suing them in thier own jurisdictions. That would get tied up in an appeals process before any final determination,in fact most suits will be tied up in appeals perhaps beyond any real chance of being effective.

Just to be clear on this, the Florida Supreme Court said to certify on Sunday IF THE OFFICE WAS OPEN THAT DAY and if not to certyify them on Monday at 9AM. She is specifically opening up JUST to certify George W the winner. If certifying them at 5PM today is not partisan I don't know what is. I don't see it holding up in court. In fact I think the Supreme Court set her up to see what she does.

[EDIT] Also, those 157 Miami\Dade votes are not being included Michael. Because even though they are votes Gore rightfully gained GW's people won't let them count because they would then lose.

Everything I've read has said ballot requests, not actual ballots. If it is actual ballots, then hang them all! <grin>

The Secretary of State will be open to certify at 5:00 P.M. today. At least when its done,we will know how many votes either needs to secure the bid for the White House.

>>>I think the Supreme Court set her up to see what she does. <<<

That may be true, but I hope not.The Supremes setting people up for a fall doesn't sound good. Entrapment? Naw.

This won't be over at 5:00 eastern time. You can take that to the bank!
