I was ready to go for this because even with shipping it's 18.00 after the two MIR's.
The CA security software was an after thought, because I would never use it. Just use the box UPC code to get that 15.00 MIR. But I read a little more closely and this is one more hoop to jump through (from the website):

NOTE: Take advantage of this FREE 30 DAY TRIAL. If you DO NOT want to continue to be protected by CA Internet Security Suite 2007, just contact our helpful customer service reps, and they will handle the rest. Otherwise, after 30 days we will charge your credit card $69.99 for a full year of protection and product updates.

Now on top of mailing in two rebates, we need to make a phone call within 30 days of purchase to cancel the software (it looks like, they charge even if you don't install it), or else they will charge your CC 69.95. Too many hoops for me, third hoop killed it.

Third hoop easier and more convenient than the first two in my opinion; shipping & taxes kills it for me. Wish they had a 'pick up at local store' option to avoid shipping charges...

I ordered a stick on 1/14/07, when there were two active rebates, one for $30, and one for $15. The $30 rebate goes until 1/31, but the $15 only went until 1/15. Since I ordered ahead of time, I should get both rebates, but I didn't get the rebate info until after the $15 was removed from Tiger Direct. Does anyone have a link to the rebate form for the $15 rebate?

Nevermind, I found it. But neither companies will accept copies of the original barcode, so its 25 AR 🙁

Why do you think it's only 25 AR? The 15 MIR is for the CA Internet Security suite. For that rebate you send in the UPC from the software box. The Ultra memory rebate gets the UPC from the memroy card. If you look at the Onrebate form at the link here you will see that it shows clearly that the UPC code is from the secuiry suite. This really isn't the rebate form as it is instructions on how to get the 15.00 MIR from the Onrebate website.

Acording to a guy in slickdeals forums, on both types of paypal accounts you get your rebate without paypal getting a %.

I'm not sure if the people at slickdeals already discussed this or not, but if you have a basic account you never have to pay the transaction fees so you should be ok. If you have a premier account you get hit with the 3.4%+$.30 fee or whatever it is now. Still not a big deal, though. Maybe they don't even charge the fee if you get a rebate despite what type of account you have?

When you use the Paypal payment system with Onrebate, the full rebate is deposited in your account. Paypal takes nothing. I've done four of these in the last few months myself with fast results. If you use the expedited rebate (3-5 days for payment into your Paypal account after receipt of documentation), it runs about 10% of the rebate. I have done this method also.
