i thought i heard something a while back about nanya chips being crap? hrm... i thought they used to use infineon stuff, but i might be mistaken.

Mushkin uses Infineon chips on their more expensive RAM. Their cheap stuff is made with lesser quality chips. 512MB with Infineon costs about $100 more than the Nanya RAM.

this can be had for as little as $79 + shipping, just search for "ram" and go thru the posts...if i'm not mistaken there was a posting for 512mb dimms which use quality chips, and were not high density...i'm too lazy to look
