A little "warning" for those who care: the stick I have won't boot up when CAS is set to 2. But then, for 40 bux, what would you expect...

I've yet to hear about a serie of sticks that only works on VIA-based boards...

But I know for sure that an i815-based board would never accept more than 512MB of RAM...

Most of this super cheap factory sweepings type memory is high density,
which means it will only work on newer motherboards that support high
density memory. A lot of the older (but still great and still in service) Intel
motherboards don't support high density memory.

Anyway, the stick is 64Meg x 64, 16 chips, dual bank (of course). I still have a BX system, if anyone requests it, I can pop in the RAM for a sec.
