512MB of Crucial Memory for Asus A7V266-E for $122

As has been mentioned, you can go to the new 20% off that has been listed here. Then go through and select the memory. When you select the Asus A7V266-E you will see a coupon code ASUM1X30 that anyone can use for another $30 off (it says to pass it on to anyone who wants to use it). I don't know what other motherboards have coupons associated with them, so you may want to search around. You can enter the coupon code after you go to checkout.

Also, I do not know if this memory is specific to the Asus board, or if it can be used in any board that uses PC2100.

Also, the coupon is only good on one stick. Read the small print on the bottom of the coupon link.

<< Can you get the $30 off on more than 1 module? My mb can take 2 - 512mb modules ($60 off + 20% ?). >>

If you read the coupon it says one per person.. You may be able to sneak it past them tho.. I dunno...

Great find! Just picked one up. They do charge SALES TAX IN 30 STATES! Mine was one of them but it was still a good deal at $128.82!

First Order placed. Will be interesting! 🙂

Should be the standart Memory, so that would be a killer price.

Coupon is only good for one module. You can by more, but no coupon. I am sure you could have a friend order one for you. 😉

How do you get the initial 20% off. I can get the coupon but not 20% off. My price for one 512MB comes to $170.99. Please help.

Thx

Its as easy as clicking the initial link, and then clicking the blue button on the page that says "GO"
This website is crucial! GO!!!

Jeepers. This one's too good to pass up. $127.48 shipped to VA, 2nd day. :Q

Mad props to fenrir for the hookup. This one's flaming, considering the prices over the last few months.

*Dran does the "finally, enough RAM to satisfy my needs" dance*

Thanks fenrir! Good deal. Just picked up a refurb KR7A and Alpha 8045 from newegg.

All I need is a good, quiet, efficient 80mm fan for the Alpha, and I AM FINISHED!! No more upgrades!

Shhhh! You know that you are only ordering these modules for the A7V 266E. Any other use would be, i don't know, just wrong.

I certainly would not be happy saving $30.00 on this product if I were going to use it on a different motherboard. It just doesn't seem right.

(Notice tounge firmly planted in right cheek.)

We will just have to keep up a crucial watch for the chosen motherboard of the week as they give this benefit on other MB's.

Maybe its a marketing survey to see how many net freaks own which motherboards.

this memory also comes up as the mem to use for the ASUS P4S333-M, which is the board of choice to use with intels P4-1.6a and do some serious overclockin'!

decent deal thanks!

Only $121.xx FREE SHIPPING, and no tax for me!

Thanks for the deal, just bought one!
I have the A7V266-E and I'm more than 100% certain it takes regular PC2100 DDR Ram

This is not overly hot. A number of sites are selling Kingston 512MB PC2100 DDR modules for ~125. I agree you save on shipping but maybe $10 at the most. You could debate which RAM is better ad nauseum but I've always had good experiences with Kingston RAM.

Ordered yesterday and received my RAM today!! (Fedex rocks - Package got upgraded to Priority Overnight)

For all the skeptics, the RAM part number & description is:
CT6464Z265.16T 512MB 184-Pin DIMM 64x64 DDR PC2100 which means its a regular DDR stick.

$121.99 - 4% ebates = $117.11 for 512MB of Original Crucial Memory shipped overnight! Let's see if you can beat this price.

Great deal!! I need more RAM as I am lacking it......but I also have credit card debt up the wazoo! To buy or not to buy, that tis the question.
