512 MB X1800XT or 7900GT?

I was checking froogle UK and found that Gigabyte GeForce 7900GT 256MB and Sapphire Radeon X1800XT 512MB cost around the same (around 45 pounds in diff.)

Which is a better option for me? Which one will produce lesser heat? I live in India and my friend is going to bring it to me from UK.

Anyother card you recommend in this price range??
Also what are the good sites for buying Grapchics card in UK?

Can't go wrong with either card. Both are great for the money, and both win their share of benchmakrs. It depends on what games you're planning to play.

45 pound different?? i would rather spend 45 pounds buying one more game or even two games...... stick with the cheaper one in your area....

main reason was texture quality is a big deal to me, and imo the x1800 was far superior to my 7800.
