They've been out of them since forever. I'm making a new computer together and I need a 512 stick instead of 2 256 sticks. How long have they been out of these sticks? Do you guys know when they'll have em back in stock?

<< Here is an idea call the company and ask them! >>

They're closed. I'm calling them tomorrow though. DIdn't have to be so hostile, zorro, I thought you were a man of the people.

Since Crucial is out of the picture on 512 DDR, try Mushkin or, if you can find it, Infineon. 512MB sticks have really jumped in price in the last 2 weeks. Even high quality Infineon sticks were $55-$60 a short time ago, now expect to pay $110-$120 for decent stuff.

Get it at Mushkin. $120 and free shipping on 512MB DDR. Mine was an Infineon brand. No I don't speak for them.

I'm VERY happy with mine. Absolutely kick generic crap's ass. Mushkin tests their memory one by one and comes with lifetime warranty. GET IT NOW while they're offering free shipping.

Mushkin doesn't make any chips of their own. They buy them from other people and (I think) assemble the sticks themselves.

Not all the chips they buy are high quality.
