These price drops blow my mind. I fought and scraped for deals on my C300s getting them for ~$300 (and I still love them as they've been perfect for me)... but to see the m4's get down to these prices for the upper-level sizes... wow.

Happy shopping people. At most you're one flash away from a really great drive.

And at that price ~$400 would make a moderate to nice laptop move to spectacular status.

They might be clearing stock for a new version or something. That price per gig on that large of an SSD is fantastic. You'll probably end up kicking yourself for waiting when they go OOS.

I actually believe their price is set by a mix of an algorithm watching all the partner sellers' pricing and someone pushing numbers for a sale period. This is based on watching the Amazon proper price drop only after some of their partners dropped.

Odds are they got a good enough response to the $400 price that they could push it up a bit again.
