I don't know why anyone would buy only one of these when a pair of 7800GTs are faster for $400 less, so I guess the people that ordered them are actually getting two.

At a $1000, you could ALMOST buy a pair of 7800 GTXs and go SLI. That's just crazy. Now, if they release a dual 7800 GTX-512 core card, that MIGHT be different. Maybe. But probably now. $1000 is just nuts for a video card.
