The GTO getting the LS2 in 2005 is just speculation and rumor at this point. The LS6 is still a candidate.

The LS2 has 2 valve heads.

You can supercharge those V8s for less than $5k and get the same power as those $8k+ N/A kits.
 
Wow .. that kit really sucks. For the 410 kit, you get a air filter and an exhaust. What a ripoff. I have that on my truck. Doesn't do much other than sound good.

The 510 adds some head work .. I highly doubt it will see anywhere near 510 hp. Maybe 400.

Speculation and rumor?
The '05 is coming with scoops and a new rear fascia to allow the exhaust to exit on both sides, as well as the LS2 coming standard.
