Price is pretty normal for the drive at 54.99, but it comes with a free Rosewill USB docking station. I needed the drive for a build, and the addition of the docking station was kinda nice to have for some of the old drives I have around. Nothing special, so long as it works. (Though I haven't had much luck with Rosewill products.)

Anyway, thought it was worth posting for those interested.

EDIT: Here's the link that includes the docking station:

Received the stuff today, and I am pretty surprised by the docking station. Pretty sturdy. Not of the highest quality, but good enough. And about 60-80mbs per second transfer to an old WD 40 GB drive from an old workstation. Pleasantly surprised by Rosewill this time.

Had no problems with the dock using two different drives so far. Mine was also free with a combo deal but with a 1TB EcoGreen.

Do you mean megaBits/s? If you mean megabytes it's being effected by OS caching. Real performance is closer to 35MB/s read, 29MB/s write (with 7200.12 1TB HDD in it) which isn't bad at all for a USB2 enclosure but still leaves you longing for the version having eSATA in a HDD bundle.

Regardless, total price is still good for the combo.

I dunno... whatever the heck Windows 7 measures performance by.
