My friend got a rather crappy computer, one where processor can't be upgraded without replacing motherboard, so he decided against it, and is gonna buy a new computer "soon" (his words) but untill then he wants to do some gaming on his old rig. It's one of those HP (Pavillion 7360 I belive) with on board video. I told him I can add better video card, but there is no need to go overboard. So I was wondering since so many video card is cpu dependant what would be a good choice for a PCI video card? Would GeForce4 MX PCI be too much? Any recommendations?
P.s. He is not one of the connoisseurs of computer graphics, as long as frame rate doesn't drop with every shot and it's not pixalated like doom, he will be happy.
