Cool but I'd never invest so much to get that kind of HP in a FWD car unless it was drag only or something.

I think it's a sponsored show car -- it's not one guy paying for it all.

I hope not, anyways :Q

I don't see anywhere that they installed some kind of LSD on that thing. I hope if they plan on running it at a track or ANYTHING other than a dyno, they do. That must be a torquesteer monster.

But it looks like they just did it for show and bragging rights, based on all the stickers and fancy paint.

I'm not really into the stickers or vinyl either, but I definitely want to learn more about cars so that later in life I can rebuild some of my own NFSU-type cars.

AWESOME!

This is how you drive it:

1) Downshift and open to WOT
2) Wait
3) Put on one of these
4) Wait
5) Hold on to the wheel with your dear life when the turbo spools up and hope that the steering lock will keep the car going the direction you want

I never thought I'd see that lowly 2.4 rev so damned high! I wonder if they shortened the stroke on it.

huh, Kenny Tran ride, eh? I agree that the stickers are excessive, but when you're a sponsored show car like that, you have to do it.

All this being said, I wouldn't mind getting a spin with it on some airport empty tracks :)

Cmon, really now. A 500 HP FWD 4 cyl is the sweetest thing you've ever seen?

I wouldn't doubt they left the stroke stock, I'd see no reason it couldn't hit 7750RPM with heavy duty pistons/rods

That engine has a LONG stroke by design. Piston speed quickly becomes an issue.

wow that's crazy. It makes me sad to see the stock performance chart compared to the modded one. It makes the stock scion look so weak. :(
