Pretty lame if you ask me. It is misleading to say '$500 gas card' as it is really 20, $25 gas cards and of course you will need to do about 20 mail in rebate type letters to get it. $500 is still $500, but the amount of work to get it something I would gladly pass on.

Agreed, you beat me to the post of that info. Its not all that appealing after reading through it. Sounds like 20 months of rebate style hell lol.

This deal is nothing more than a scam. I was thinking of building another AMD based system but this scam of a "deal" they are promoting is making me reconsider INTEL. Bait and switch tactics will not win over any customers. Infact, I think they just lost one.

That's a dang shame. With all the hoops you have to jump through, I doubt anyone would consider it with all the other Black Friday deals out there.

It would be nice to know what the bundle cost and what it consist of. Even if you only get half of the gas rebates that is still a big discount. My biggest thing is spending $100 in gas a month. A few months ago that would not have been a problem, but now it is harder for me. Also in the in the FAQ it says if they don't have a gas card for your preferred gas company that they will give you a VISA or other credit card. So, I assume of you pick some no name brand you can get generic card to us at any gas station or maybe even anywhere for anything. Do they make credit cards that can only be used for gas an nothing else? One other think in the FAQ mentions you can trade your gas voucher in for something else on thier list that they will email you after get the voucher. Would be nice to know what is on the list. Alot of unknown's with this deal. But it seems very hot if you stick to it.

This type of thing was on the local news. It's usually very misrepresented, to the point that the FTC is investigating. You basically have to shop at ONE gas station chain, spend a certain amt, then mail in receipts for a voucher. To get $500, you have to do it many, many times.
