These people have a long history of bait & switching and after you see it happen time & time & time again over the last few YEARS, how can you not try to help the fellow anandtech forum members?

I wish you luck returning your casette dividers + I hope they cancel your orders instead of sending the cassette dividers. If they do send them, watch out for restocking fees and slimy customer service reps giving you a hard time after you've spent 45 minutes on hold trying to get your RMAs.

I have a story.......

I won a Tiger Direct ebay Auction I was leary of Tigerdirect especially in auction form, Granted I got it for $20.00 shipped instead of the $49.99 + Shipping on the website and there is a $10 MIR. I paid for it right after the auction ended and 3 days later I got an email explaining that they were out of stock and would have more in the next two weeks. :|

seems they shouldn't be auctioning stuff they don't have..

I gave up explaining that on the first page. If TD did possibly have a 500 pack bulk DVD-R to begin with, there might have been a sliver of hope. They never did.
 
Alrighty, Got my cancellation notice.... Good try folks...

What I can't understand is the emnity some of these folks are expressing. I don't if they don't like a noob sharing potential hotdeals, or if they were just never able to recover their gerbil and have to lash out... I've never seen so many haters in any other Hotdeal thread.. Whether it went through or not.

If I see what may be a good deal, I'm gonna let fellow AT'ers know bout it.
 
Apparently TigerDirect lied to Amazon that my credit card information and/or my shipping address is incorrect that they had to cancel my order.

Well, I am seeing a lot of bad feedback on TigerDirect and now I understand about why they are getting them. It would be about OK even if they admit that it was a mistake and sorry about that. But lying something that all the responsibility is on its customers isn't right.
